⭐️ Brian Kidd scored in the final on what was his 19th Birthday. He went on to play over 200
Games for Manchester United and later was assistant to Sir Alex Ferguson.
⭐️ John Aston was awarded the Man Of The Match for his performance in the European Cup Final. A performance by many that is regarded as one of the best ever in a European Cup final.
⭐️ Jimmy Rimmer was the only named substitute that day for Manchester United and was at the club for 11 years.
He would again win the European for a 2nd time
whilst playing for Aston Villa.
