An evening with Philadelphia-born artist Peggy Reavey featuring screenings of the early David Lynch shorts THE ALPHABET (1969) and THE GRANDMOTHER (1970) and a conversation hosted by Julien Suaudeau, creator of Song of Philadelphia.

Peggy Reavey and David Lynch met in 1966, while both were students at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. They got married in Philadelphia and had one child together, filmmaker Jennifer Lynch, in 1968. Peggy played a major creative role in THE ALPHABET and THE GRANDMOTHER, both shot in their Fairmount homes. As an artist, she is interested in the invisible. Her paintings, she writes, are a marriage between William Blake and Ann Landers. She currently lives and works in San Pedro, CA.
