Marilynne Robinson is a novelist and essayist and served for 25 years as Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Iowa. Robinson has received numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction, the National Humanities Medal, and the Library of Congress Prize for American Fiction. Her novels include Gilead, Home, Lila, Jack, and Housekeeping. Robinson has written numerous nonfiction works, including her recent Reading Genesis.
