Lotus Wight spent 20 years playing with Sheesham, Lotus and Son, traveling the world and hosting festivals.Wight's recent solo recording, Original Works for Voice and Banjo has earned him a CFMA nomination for the Stan Rogers Traditional Vocalist of the Year Award.
Lotus plays original songs in the old time style and draws for a carefull curated collection of antique music. He performs on banjo, guitar, jaw-harps and his own invention, the contrabass harmoniphoneum.
