An Evening with London Pride
About this Event
Enjoy an evening of food and cask ale pairings while discovering the craft, history and passion behind London Pride.
The story behind London Pride
The story of London Pride begins at the historic Griffin Brewery in Chiswick, where brewing has taken place since 1654. Fuller, Smith & Turner was formed in 1845, building on centuries of brewing heritage at the site.
London Pride itself was first launched in 1959. Its name was inspired by the London Pride flower, which famously grew amongst the rubble of London after the Blitz and came to represent the city's resilience.
Today, London Pride remains one of the best known names in British cask ale, with its brewing heritage closely tied to the Griffin Brewery in Chiswick.
