An Evening with Lizzy Hilliard
About this Event
Lizzy is an NYC-based composer, theater-maker and singer/songwriter originally from Abington, Pennsylvania. Bearing lyrics with tenderness and evocative imagery, Lizzy's songs oscillate between candid observation and wistful reflection. As a composer, Lizzy writes across genres, from classical and choral compositions to musical theater. Recent works include The Pocket Girls, an original folk musical, and The Bathtime Waltz, a choral commission for the University of Washington Treble Choir. As an orchestrator, she made her Off Broadway debut arranging the musical Beyond Perfection in 2025. Lizzy is a prolific songwriter, having released over 80 songs, and has built an audience of over 80,000 on social media sharing her creative process and her original music. Her three volume album anthology, entitled growth, is a journey of self discovery in the wake of newfound independence. Her newest EP, Road Trip, features songs about pivotal personal experiences in six states, including Wyoming, Oregon and Indiana. Lizzy writes, records, produces, mixes, and masters her own work. Her mission as an artist is to convey the whimsicality and gentleness commonly associated with children’s media to a grown up audience while holding fast to complexity and nuance.
