An Evening with Juliet Lloyd & Lucy Woodward
Pull up a chair — this February, acclaimed singer-songwriters Lucy Woodward and Juliet Lloyd are sharing the stage for an intimate night of songs, stories, and powerhouse vocals. Coming from different corners of the roots, soul, pop, and jazz worlds, they’ll each take the stage for a
stripped-down acoustic set that puts the songs front and center.
This isn't a joint performance — it's two full, separate sets. Each artist plays her own acoustic set, with a short break in between to refill your glass and settle in for round two…and maybe a few moments of spontaneous collaboration. One ticket, two sets, and a chance to hear two singular songwriters up close.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
Lucy Woodward
Lucy Woodward can sing anything and still sound like herself. Born in London and raised in New York, she has built a genre-blurring catalog
spanning art pop, soul, jazz, and blues. Her ninth album, I Need to Roam (GroundUP Music, 2026), is her most fully realized work yet. Jazz in Europe calls it a “record that refuses to sit still.”
Her credits include her own Top 40 hit “Dumb Girls” and co-writing “(There’s Gotta Be) More to Life” for Stacie Orrico, which earned her two
BMI Awards. She has toured and recorded with both guitarist Charlie Hunter and Snarky Puppy, and fronted Pink Martini at North American jazz
festivals. She has shared stages and studios with Rod Stewart, Céline Dion, and Carole King. Rod Stewart calls her “pure creative magic!” Her voice also appears on soundtracks including What a Girl Wants and The BlindSide. She tours Europe extensively, both with her trio, The Rocketeers, and as a featured guest with the continent’s top jazz orchestras. By the end of 2026, she will have performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! across two four- night residencies.
Juliet Lloyd
Juliet Lloyd is an acclaimed, internationally touring singer-songwriter based in the DC region, known for a soulful, roots-infused blend of folk
and pop that's earned her comparisons to Brandi Carlile, Aimee Mann, and Tori Amos. Across a 20-year career, she's released four studio albums, with music placed on MTV and VH1 and airplay on more than 175 radio stations nationwide. Her 2024 album Carnival was praised by reviewers as "a powerfully emotive performance from start to finish," showcasing her "gift for honest, emotionally layered songwriting." Juliet's writing has earned top honors in the Bernard/Ebb Songwriting Awards and the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, four "Wammie" finalist nods, and multiple national songwriter awards — and she brings that same warmth to 150+ shows a year at listening rooms and festivals across the US and UK.
