Perks Artist Series is excited to present An Evening With Jen Kritcher on Wednesday, October 30th from 6:00 - 7:00 at Perks of Frankfort.
In Jen's Words.....
I have been an artist since childhood. Instead of selling lemonade, as a child I sold drawings on the roadside! I have done many portraits for people using graphite pencils, and several paintings in watercolor, acrylic, and oil. I love nature and photography and now printmaking as it combines so many elements of art. My favorite is to observe nature and places I travel to, draw on site or photograph the scene to reference, then transfer an image to a block and carve it. It is a wonderful process of drawing, carving, inking, printing, then painting some with watercolor paints I have mixed myself from natural earth pigments.
Join Jen as she demonstrates how to make a small print. She will have a block already carved and then she will ink it and create a few prints.
There is no fee to attend and no need to rsvp. Our baristas will be on hand for you to order drinks and homemade treats. We can't wait for you to join us!
