Donal Ryan, critically acclaimed author of The Queen of Dirt Island and Heart, Be At Peace and more, joins us to celebrate his latest novel, Where Are The Kings.
Donal's latest novel follows Jack as he grows up in a family shrouded in secrets, tragedy, and trauma, trying to discover himself as he goes from boy to king in his uncles' garage, under the watchful eye of his loving grandparents and his hypnotising aunt, surrounded by questions about his mother and father. Where Are The Kings is a beautiful and hilarious meditation on masculinity, family, and growing up, praised by Joanna Cannon, M. L. Stedman, and Rachel Joyce.
