Darin and Brooke Aldridge, the highly acclaimed Bluegrass and Americana duo, are back with their latest album, ‘Talk of the Town.’ The husband-and-wife team continues to ascend to new heights at the top of bluegrass music while keeping their easy-going, down-to-earth connection with audiences everywhere. Brooke, a four-time International Bluegrass Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year winner, and Darin, a former member of The Country Gentlemen, have received numerous nominations from IBMA, the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America, the Gospel Music Association, and Inspirational Country Music Association. They were named "Bluegrass Artists of the Year" at the 2023 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. Their smash hit "Jordan" featuring Ricky Skaggs, Mo Pitney and Mark Fain earned IBMA and GMA Song of the Year nominations in 2023.

The North Carolina natives have topped various music charts and appeared on TV networks such as Country Music Television, Great American Country, and PBS, and have graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry more than 50 times. Their 2021 gospel hit, "He's Getting Me Ready" featuring Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys, spent a record-setting five months atop The Singing News gospel chart.

See them and their band live at Almost Famous Wine Lounge, an award-winning, new tasting room and venue located on Vasco Road in the heart of Livermore's wine, spirits and brewery district. Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned over 50 top industry awards since our debut in 2021.

Unoccupied tables in the stage room cannot be claimed first come, first served until 8:15pm. Upgraded seating must otherwise be purchased. Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. No outside beverages, including non-alcoholic beverages. With a menu of 15 wines in diverse styles and sophisticated non-alcoholic options, there's something for everyone.

Dancing is encouraged at Almost Famous, and usually takes place in front of and to the side of the stage. If a dance party breaks out, we cannot guarantee a completely unobstructed view to those sitting in the bistro table seats.

Darin and Brooke continue to ascend to new heights in the music industry while keeping their easy-going, down-to-earth connection with audiences everywhere. Brooke is a four-time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Female Vocalist of the Year, while Darin, once a member of The Country Gentlemen, is a former IBMA Mentor of the Year and a truly gifted singer and multi-instrumentalist. They have had numerous nominations over the years from the IBMA, the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA), the Gospel Music Association (GMA Dove Awards) and the Inspirational Country Music Association. In April 2023, they were named “Bluegrass Artists of the Year” at the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. Their music videos have been featured on Country Music Television (CMT), CMT Edge, Great American Country (GAC), Bluegrass Ridge TV, and The Bluegrass Situation. Their television appearances include PBS’ Mountain Stage, Songs of the Mountain and Music City Roots; RFD-TV’s Larry’s Country Diner, Country’s Family Reunion and The Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour; Great American Gospel; The Bluegrass Road and Blue Highways TV. They have graced the stage of the Grand Ole Opry more than 50 times.

A career highlight from the 2021 release This Life We’re Livin’ was “He’s Getting Me Ready,” a gospel rouser featuring Country Music Hall of Fame members The Oak Ridge Boys. It spent an incredible record-setting five months atop The Singing News gospel chart.

In following the path of their dreams, Brooke once noted, “We want our music to lift people up.” “It was an early goal of ours to put a positive message out there,” adds Darin, “and we decided a long, long time ago that we were going to be us, no matter what.”
