Join the Bay County Library System on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the State Theatre for an evening with New York Times bestselling author Ariel Lawhon. This event is completely free and open to the public, generously presented by the Friends of the Bay County Library System. No ticket or registration is required. Seats will be first come, first served at the State Theatre, and doors will open at 6:30 PM on the evening of the event.
Ariel Lawhon is a critically acclaimed, New York Times bestselling author of historical fiction. Her novels include: THE FROZEN RIVER, CODE NAME HÉLÈNE; I WAS ANASTASIA; FLIGHT OF DREAMS; THE WIFE THE MAID AND THE MISTRESS; WHEN WE HAD WINGS (co-written with Kristina McMorris and Susan Meissner); and BARRIERS TO ENTRY an Amazon Original Short Story. Her books have been translated into numerous languages and have been Good Morning America Book Club, Library Reads, One Book One County, Indie Next, Costco, Amazon Spotlight, and Book of the Month Club selections. She lives in the rolling hills outside Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and four sons. She splits her time between the grocery store and the baseball field.
The evening will feature a captivating author talk where Ariel will share insights on her books and writing process. Following the talk, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during a live Q&A session and have their books signed. Copies of Ariel's books will also be available for purchase at the event.
