The Midtown Scholar Bookstore is honored to welcome New York Times bestselling autor Ariel Lawhon to Harrisburg for a conversation and signing on the paperback release of her new book, THE FROZEN RIVER. Lawhon will be in-conversation with Amy Jo Burns.
This is a ticketed event. Every ticket includes a signed copy of the book and up to two general admission seats. Doors will open at 6:00pm, and the event will begin at 7:00pm. Seating is general admission; first come, first served. Book signing to follow discussion.

About the Speakers:
Ariel Lawhon is a critically acclaimed, New York Times bestselling author of historical fiction. Her books have been translated into numerous languages and have been LibraryReads, One Book One County, Indie Next, Costco, Amazon Spotlight, and Book of the Month Club selections. She lives in the rolling hills outside Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and four sons. Ariel splits her time between the grocery store and the baseball field.
Amy Jo Burns is the author of the memoir Cinderland and the novel Shiner. Her writing has appeared in Elle, Good Housekeeping, The Paris Review Daily, and the anthology Not That Bad. A western Pennsylvania native, she now lives in New Jersey with her family.
