TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Join us for An Evening on the Matanzas – A Coastal White Christmas Gala to Benefit COA on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 5pm to 8:30pm at River House! The annual fundraising event to benefit COA supports critical programs and services that help local seniors enjoy quality of life during the holidays and all year long. Attendees are invited to enjoy dinner, dancing, and an exciting silent charity auction in the spectacular waterfront setting of River House, located at 179 Marine Street in downtown St. Augustine, Florida. Tickets to the event are $150 per person and may be purchased online at www.coasjc.org/gala while seats are available until November 3, 2025.
“Each year, we look forward to this chance to gather with friends, old and new, and make an important difference in the lives of our community’s elders,” explained COA Executive Director, Becky Yanni. “What better way to ring in the holidays than to help older adults enjoy their independence, comfort, and dignity in the place they call home.”
The gala’s silent auction will include a collection of exciting trips thanks to a generous sponsorship from AmFund, the American Fundraising Foundation. Travel packages will include 4+-star accommodations, options to extend and add additional travelers, a dedicated travel specialist to book one’s trip, and will be valid for 3 years with no blackout dates. Bidding will be open for a limited time, so be ready to bid, win, and travel in support of a good cause – Council on Aging.
A range of sponsorship opportunities are available to support the fundraising gala starting at the $250 level. All sponsorships include recognition opportunities online, as well as at the event.
