Come enjoy a cool November evening with The Duke (Duke Ellington) as our Jazz Ensembles pay tribute to this iconic composer and bandleader.
This concert will showcase the Jazz Arts Collective, directed by Prof. Robert Shipley, The Jazz Guitar Combo, directed by Prof. Lee Heerspink, and the Steps Ahead Jazz Combo, directed by Prof. Tom Lockwood. It will also feature a special guest artist: Bassist extraordinaire Darryl Jones (Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Sting, the Rolling Stones, etc.)
