We're honored to welcome Nick Valencia, award-winning journalist and former CNN correspondent, as he shares his complete recovery journey in an intimate setting at our Huntsville office. While Nick will serve as the keynote speaker at the End Addiction Walk the following day, this special event offers the opportunity to hear the full story behind his recovery.
After 19 years with CNN, Nick launched Nick Valencia News (NVN) in 2025, where he has reached millions by bridging traditional and new media. Throughout his distinguished journalism career, he earned a national Emmy for coverage of the death of George Floyd, received three Peabody Awards, multiple Emmy nominations, and was named the Atlanta Press Club's TV Reporter of the Year.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Nick openly shares that he has been in recovery for more than five years. He speaks candidly about the importance of honesty, willingness, spirituality, and taking recovery one day at a time. His story is one of resilience, hope, and the transformative power of recovery.
