On Thursday 24 September, the José Almarcha Trio brings contemporary flamenco from Spain to The Boardwalk, Glasgow — for one night only.
Flamenco guitarist, composer and musical director José Almarcha has spent more than twenty years on stage, taking his music to theatres, tablaos and festivals across Spain and around the world.

The trio performs José’s own repertoire, with the guitar at the centre in close dialogue with piano and percussion.
Flamenco rooted in tradition, yet open to improvisation and the influence of jazz. The programme draws on José’s repertoire, with a special focus on his latest album, 𝘜𝘯 𝘕𝘶𝘦𝘷𝘰 𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘰.
