Join us for an exciting evening of music featuring Mono Mundo artist Hector Tellez Jr. Hector has garnered a passionate audience of followers both in the U.S. and in his homeland of Cuba, where he played at the Havana World Music Festival. His debut album, The Great Unknown, released via Thirty Tigers, weaves together the spiritual and the profane, musing on philosophical questions that have fascinated many great Latin writers of recent times.
This benefit concert is made possible through the generosity of Rick Rodriguez of LA Cara Productions, Shannon Wood and Peter Kirland of Darkhorse Theater, and Hector Tellez Jr. Ticket sales will help Global Education Center continue its vital work in schools and the community to highlight our commonalities and promote cross-cultural understand and respect, thereby creating a home that is truly for ALL.
