Jamie Clague presents an evening of acoustic blues music, featuring an eclectic range of material from masters of the genre. Ranging from such artists as Muddy Waters, Leadbelly, Rory Gallagher and many more in a highly engaging show that gets audiences stomping their feet and shouting for ‘more!’.
About the artist:
Jamie Clague, the frontman of blues-rock powerhouse The JCB is an eclectic musician who has spent the last few years honing his craft with various acts playing throughout the UK, Europe and most notably Ireland, bringing a raw, highly engaging stageshow.
Heavily influenced by Rory Gallagher, Gary Moore and Muddy Waters amongst others, Jamie delves into the lesser explored facets of the blues and brings these areas to light and the delight of audiences, with singing along and ‘hollering’ being a staple of any JCB set alongside the blistering guitar work and solid rhythm section.
Not content with sticking to one genre, Jamie also has explored other avenues, in particular the Russian Balalaika, a triangular lute, and spent much time studying the folk music of Eastern Europe, incorporating it into his sets at various times. You never quite know what you will get next!
