🌲 Evening in the Forest at Crabbe Mountain
A cozy winter night experience for everyone, no skiing required.
Looking for something different to do this winter?
Join us for a peaceful guided snowshoe walk through a beautiful wooded trail at Crabbe Mountain, softly lit with glowing lights, crackling fire pits, and warm winter vibes. This is a calm, relaxing outdoor experience designed for anyone who loves nature, fresh air, and cozy moments, even if you’ve never stepped foot on a ski hill before.
Along the way, you’ll stop to warm up by the fire with a hot drink and enjoy a handcrafted s’mores treat while gentle music plays through the trees.
It’s the perfect winter night out for couples, friends, date nights, or anyone wanting a little winter magic.
✨ What’s Included
• Guided, light-lit snowshoe walk through our forest trails
• Cozy fire pit stop in the woods
• One hot drink (hot chocolate or warm cider)
• One s’mores kit (sweet or savoury – your choice)
• Soft ambient lighting and music along the route
⏰ Arrival & Timing (Important)
Your ticket time is your arrival window.
Please arrive before your booking time.
Before and after your walk, relax in our warm lodge where hot food, drinks, and snacks are available for purchase.
• You’ll head out on the trail 15–30 minutes after your arrival time
• The full experience lasts about 60 minutes
❄️ Snowshoes Required
To comfortably walk on packed snow, you’ll need snowshoes or traction cleats.
Options:
• Bring your own snowshoes
• Rent onsite for $20 per pair (very limited supply)
• Purchase pull-on boot cleats in our retail shop

$25 per person
Includes the full experience, hot drink, and s’mores kit.
Spaces are limited each night to keep things peaceful and uncrowded.

Our lodge will be open with a kitchen and bar.
Special hot drinks and desserts will be available to make your evening extra cozy.
🌨️ Weather
This experience runs rain, snow, or clear winter nights.
⚠️ Important Accessibility & Safety Notice
This experience takes place outdoors on natural, uneven winter terrain.
The trail includes packed snow, soft snow, small hills, and unlevel ground. Participants must be able to walk independently in winter conditions for approximately 60 minutes while wearing snowshoes or traction cleats.
This event is not suitable for individuals with mobility limitations, balance concerns, or medical conditions that may be impacted by uneven terrain or cold weather exposure.
For the safety of all guests, Crabbe Mountain staff reserve the right to decline participation to anyone they believe may not be able to safely complete the trail experience.
Guests who are not permitted to embark due to safety concerns will not be refunded.
We welcome everyone to enjoy our lodge before or after the event, however participation in the forest walk requires full independent mobility in winter conditions.
By purchasing a ticket, guests acknowledge and accept these conditions.
