Experience an evening of Irish music, dance, and culture with the An Daire Academy! Inspired by the touring dance shows, Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, the dancers take you on a journey of the Irish immigration to America, and how this influenced the development of music and dance.
The evening will showcase the growth and development of Irish music and dance over the years, highlighting the very beginnings of group social dancing to the formation of organized competitive dancing. Appropriate for all ages, this performance explores and celebrates this wonderful part of Irish American history!
As a recipient of a City of Hillsboro Performance Series Grant, this performance directly supports the Pacific Celtic Foundation, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting STAGES Performing Arts Youth Academy.
Tickets are $22 purchased in advance / $27 day of show.
