An Audience with Jay McKenzie

Debut author Jay McKenzie grew up in North East England surrounded by storytellers and Catherine Cookson novels. She is a former Byker Grove cast member, playing Patsy between 1992 and 1995. She has worked as a performing arts teacher in the UK, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia and South Korea, and is now a novelist and award winning short fiction writer.. How to Lose the Lottery publishes with Harper Fiction on 26th March 2026 and is set in and around South Tyneside.
