In her dual role as the Global Chief Privacy Officer, she ensures the company adheres to international privacy regulations and maintains robust data protection standards. Before joining Coherent Corp., Ms. Ruparel gained significant legal experience as an associate at prestigious law firms Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, and Jones Day. Her practice focused on complex legal issues, providing her with a strong foundation in corporate law and compliance. Ms. Ruparel graduated with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley, earning her B.A. She then pursued her J.D. at Vanderbilt Law School, further honing her legal expertise. Additionally, she obtained a legal certification from Oxford University and enriched her experience by working as an intern at the White House.
