The trip finally made it out of the group chat! Lottie and her friends have been planning – and saving – for their ski trip for ages and everything is going to be perfect. Until it isn’t.
After her boyfriend, Adam, cheats on her, Lottie can’t think of anything worse than being stuck on the slopes with him. The night before the trip Lottie decides to do something crazy to distract herself from thinking about Adam. A hot hookup with someone she’ll never have to see again seems like just the solution.
Except her one-night stand turns out to be her ski instructor, Rory. Adam is oblivious, Rory is interested, and Lottie is left asking not only if she should forgive Adam, but what is love, actually?

About the author:
Sophie Davies is a romance author based in West Sussex, who studied English literature at the University of Exeter, and has been working in the publishing industry ever since.
She starting posting about her writing journey on TikTok in 2023, which has led her to meeting many other amazing writers, some of whom have become her closest friends.
Her favourite thing to do is visit local coffee shops with other writers and pen love stories she hopes will make you feel warm and cosy.
At home, she lives with her boyfriend and their two cats, Zaggy and Meggy, and spends any time not writing cuddled up on the sofa with a cup of tea reading a book, playing board games with friends and family, or attempting to catalogue her never-ending book collection.
