About this Event

📚💙💛 An afternoon with Olia Hercules

Join us at the Ukrainian Cultural Centre for a very special meet-and-greet and book signing with the wonderful Olia Hercules — renowned Ukrainian author, chef and passionate storyteller.

Olia will be talking about her latest book, Strong Roots — a powerful and moving story of a Ukrainian family, spanning war, displacement, resilience and hope.

📚 We’re also delighted to announce that Five Leaves Bookshop will be joining us at the event, with copies of Olia’s books available to purchase — giving you the perfect opportunity to take home a copy and perhaps have it signed by Olia herself!

🎶 And to make the afternoon even more special, we’ll have live music from the incredible Mavky!

Come along, meet Olia, hear her story, discover her new book and enjoy an afternoon of Ukrainian culture, music and community. 💙💛
