Eva Schneider is a Holocaust survivor whose life is a powerful testament to faith, resilience, and miracles. Born in 1933 in Nitra, Slovakia, Eva was just 11 years old when she and her mother were deported to Auschwitz, where she was tattooed and narrowly escaped death in the gas chambers. Separated from her parents, Eva endured Auschwitz, a death march, and multiple concentration camps before being liberated by American forces on May 5, 1945.
Despite unimaginable loss - including 30 members of her family - Eva survived through courage, resourcefulness, and a deep faith instilled by her parents. Miraculously reunited with both her mother and father after the war, she rebuilt her life with gratitude, optimism, and hope.
Today, Eva shares her story to remind others never to give up, to hold fast to faith, and to believe in the possibility of light even in the darkest times.
