An Afternoon with HARRY Underwood

Join Gallery Director Shawn Vinson and Artist Harry Underwood during Atlanta Art Week on Saturday, October 4th from 1-3pm at The Sun ATL for an intimate discussion of Harry's work in "The Art of Belief," featuring paintings by both Underwood and legendary folk artist Howard Finster.

The Tennessee-based artist will share insights into his paintings exploring themes of faith, humanity, and the everyday sacred through a deeply personal lens. This rare opportunity to hear directly from Harry offers a glimpse into the mind of an artist who uses painting as "a device to do my thinking and suspend the monotony that is common in life."

The exhibition, running through November 15th, showcases the continuum of Southern outsider art in the heart of Sweet Auburn and the Edgewood Arts District.
