Join Memphis author Melissa Joiner for a free afternoon of tea, books, conversation, and Black storytelling in celebration of her new book, Salt in the Water.

This intimate book signing invites readers, community members, book lovers, and supporters of Black authors to gather for a warm afternoon at Enchanted Tea Lounge. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the author, purchase or bring a copy of the book, have it signed, take photos, sip tea, and enjoy meaningful conversation in community.

Salt in the Water is a powerful collection of stories rooted in memory, ancestry, family, reckoning, and reclamation. Through layered storytelling and rich Southern voices, the collection honors what has been carried, what has been survived, and what still rises.

Admission is free, and RSVP is encouraged. Food and beverages will be available for purchase à la carte.
