Join Maritime Concert Opera as we present a recital featuring Nova Scotian tenor Marcel D'Entremont, the first winner of the Sheila A. Hellstrom Memorial Award in Voice! Marcel will be accompanied by Dalhousie University staff collaborative pianist Tom King. The recital takes place at Central United Church in Lunenburg on Sunday November 2, at 2:30 pm.
Marcel will share the program with young vocal students from Lunenburg County, accompanied by Shari Porter.
The varied and wide-ranging program will have something for all lovers of song: folk songs and art songs, musical theatre and opera, and even popular music.
Please join us as we celebrate the growing career of a young Nova Scotian singer and pay homage to where it all starts -- with local teachers in our local communities.
