Arrival & Parking
Terrace Hill is located at 2300 Grand Avenue, Des Moines. Parking is available on Forest Drive (the brick street along the west side of the property) or in the parking lot at the corner of Grand Avenue and Forest Drive.
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled tour. Enter through the gate by the flagpoles on Forest Drive, where an Iowa State Trooper will admit registered guests. After entering, proceed to the Visitor's Center (Carriage House) to check in before the tour begins.
Space is limited, so reserve your spot early. We look forward to exploring one of Iowa's most remarkable historic homes with you!
