Amigurumi - Crochet Animals

Class Description: Students will learn the basics of amigurumi, or crocheted dolls and animals.

Instructor Biography: Marcia Weinert, who is “Undeniable Loopy!”, loves her wool and sheep. Her handspun skeins and original knitwear designs have taken top honors at some of America’s largest festivals, and her patterns appear in print. She teaches spinning, felting, knitting, and crochet in many venues across the northeast.

Prerequisites: Students should know the basics of crochet.

Class Fee: $35

Maximum Class Size: 12 Students

Target Age: Ages 12 and above (Youth must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class)

What do I need to bring? Bring an assortment of hook sizes and a variety of yarns such as DK or worsted weight to make animals. Plus locking stitch markers.
