About this Event

A New Orleans native and Grand Finals Winner of the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, mezzo-soprano Emily Treigle is regarded as "endlessly watchable and a consummate musician." This Spring, Ms. Treigle made her international debut with the Canadian Opera Company as Filipyevna in Eugene Onegin and Lucia in Cavalleria Rusticana.

In the 2025-2026 season, Treigle will be making her Metropolitan Opera debut as the Second Lady in The Magic Flute . She will appear in the New Orleans Opera/LPO production of Verdi’s Requiem in 2026 and will star in the New Orleans Opera’s Dialogues of the Carmelites with her mother, Phyllis Treigle, during the 2026 festival.

Emily will be performing a selection of opera arias and art songs.

Tickets include a Champagne Reception in the Parish Hall that will immediately follow the concert.
