A Scenic Riders Weekend Through Biblical and Kentucky History!
You voted for it not once, but TWICE in our AMG Group Polls, and now we are proud to bring it to our official schedule for Labor Day Weekend 2026!
Welcome to our very first ARKS, RIDGES, AND COVERED BRIDGES RIDE, a weekend designed for Riders who love scenic roads, unique destinations, small towns, history, photography, and discovering places most people drive right past. This is not a high-mileage "burn up the pavement" ride. This is our Scenic Riders Weekend, and we are taking our time to enjoy every stop along the way.
Over two incredible days, we will travel from the mountains of Southern Kentucky to the rolling hills and river towns of Northern Kentucky as we visit one of the most famous attractions in America, explore hidden roadside treasures, and ride some of the most scenic backroads in the Commonwealth. Along the way, we'll visit some of Kentucky's oldest covered bridges, historic river towns, and unforgettable roadside attractions that perfectly capture the spirit of Appalachia and the Bluegrass State.

DAY 1 — ARKS AND TWISTED RIDGES

Our first major destination will be the world-famous Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky. Built according to the dimensions described in the Book of Genesis, this full-size Noah's Ark is one of the most impressive attractions in the United States. Riders will have plenty of time to explore the Ark, visit the exhibits, take photos, and enjoy lunch. If you plan to tour the Ark, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance by clicking the link below:
Please Do not Purchase Tickets for The Creation Museum also as we will be there to take the Ark Encounter Tour Only so we keep our Riding schedule. Ark Encounter for September 5th is Approximately $69.00.

From there, we'll continue north into Pendleton County and visit one of Kentucky's most unique roadside attractions, Punkyville in Falmouth, Kentucky. Built by Charles "Punky" Beckett, this incredible miniature town is packed with nostalgia, antiques, and handcrafted buildings that create one of the most memorable photo stops you'll ever experience.
The afternoon takes us onto portions of our Twisted Ridges of Pendleton County route before connecting with the Kentucky Covered Wooden Bridges Trail where we'll visit:
• Walcott Covered Bridge — Brooksville, KY
• Dover Covered Bridge — Dover, KY
Our day concludes in Historic Downtown Maysville, Kentucky, where we'll spend the evening along the banks of the Ohio River. Riders can enjoy local restaurants, shops, historic architecture, and the charm of one of Kentucky's most beautiful river towns.

DAY 2 — COVERED BRIDGES & THE SHUFFLE BACK

Sunday morning begins with a journey across some of the most famous Historic covered bridges remaining in Kentucky.
We'll visit:
• Dover Covered Bridge
• Cabin Creek Covered Bridge — Tollesboro, KY
• Goddard White Covered Bridge — Goddard, KY
• Ringos Mill Covered Bridge — Hillsboro, KY
• Grange City Covered Bridge — Hillsboro, KY
Each bridge offers its own unique history, architecture, and photo opportunities while giving Riders a glimpse into Kentucky's past.
After completing the Kentucky Covered Wooden Bridges Trail, we'll head south through the foothills of Eastern Kentucky and connect with the Hazard County Shuffle.

Lunch at Down Home Diner & Bar!
⛽ Historic Hazard, Kentucky
Gas Stop and Smoke Break in the town that inspired The Dukes of Hazzard television series.
🍽️ Historic London, Kentucky
Dinner at the End of the Ride at the Old Town Grill located at The Dog Patch Trading Post in London, KY!
From Hazard, we'll return west along Appalachian Gateway 80 before finishing our weekend together in London.
