Ames Street Run Club – Run, Sip, Connect!
Welcome to the Ames Street Run Club!
We’re a Matthews, NC running group bringing together fitness, fun, and craft beer for everyone in the Ames Station community. Open to all ages, fitness levels, and paces...whether you’re walking 1 mile or running 5, there’s a spot for you! We run through downtown Matthews and the scenic Four Mile Creek Greenway, then unwind with a cold one.
When: Every Monday at 6:15 PM (run starts at 6:30 PM).
Where: Start and end at 215 N Ames St Suite 1000, Matthews, NC 28105 (meet outside Carolina Beer Temple).
What: Choose from 1, 3, or 5-mile routes, then sip and connect over craft beer (like St. Bernardus brews!) at Carolina Beer Temple. Post-run beers start ~7:00 PM on the patio or inside.
This group is your go-to for run updates, route maps, event announcements, and meeting fellow runners. Share your pics, chat about your favorite beers, and make new friends...all are welcome! Let’s build a community that loves to run, sip, and connect.
