The Amernet and Friends Chamber Series concludes with a distinguished finale, featuring a special collaboration with internationally acclaimed clarinetist Guy Yehuda in the heart of Coral Gables.
On March 12 at the Sanctuary of the Arts, the Amernet String Quartet, FIU’s Artist-in-Residence ensemble, brings the season to a close. Known for adventurous programming and refined ensemble interplay, the quartet has earned a reputation for performances marked by clarity, energy, and expressive depth—qualities that have made Amernet a cornerstone of South Florida’s chamber music scene. Critics have praised the ensemble for its “viscerally exciting” performances and “exceptional clarity and cohesion.”
Joining the quartet, Guy Yehuda brings an international career shaped by appearances with major orchestras and leading festivals worldwide. A top prizewinner in multiple international clarinet competitions, he has performed with the Israel Philharmonic, Chicago Civic Orchestra, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, and Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, and has appeared as a guest clarinetist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. His work has taken him across Europe and the United States under the direction of renowned conductors, with festival appearances including Spoleto, Verbier, Lucerne, and the Israeli Chamber Music Festival.
