Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a string quartet from the Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra as they perform timeless american favorites, including America the Beautiful and The Stars and Stripes Forever. Afterward enjoy the Bakersfield College Chamber Singers singing some timeless American favorites! This classical and spirited performance pays tribute to the rich music and traditions that have shaped our nation for generations. Enjoy a very special SAR Color Guard special flag ceremony at the start and a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the end by the Kern Chapter of The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) who will be dressed in authentic Revolutionary War uniforms!
