What is America's Potluck?
Communities, neighbors, and families are invited to gather and share a meal on Sunday, July 5, 2026, to commemorate our nation's 250th anniversary.
America's Potluck is an opportunity for neighbors to join with one another to share a fun, communal meal, creating a sense of connection and belonging and fostering interactions
among people from all walks of life.
By bringing people together around the table, we can
celebrate the freedoms we share and strengthen the sense of belonging that holds us together.

Two ways to Potluck in Millcreek:
1. Millcreek will host an America
Potluck gathering on July 5 from 6–9 pm at the Plaza at Millcreek Common. Millcreek will provide the gathering
space, communal tables, and a welcoming place for neighbors, friends, and families to come together. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic-style
meal, get takeout, or simply join the gathering. The focus is not on providing food, but on creating an opportunity for community connection, conversation, and shared experiences. Together, we’ll celebrate the spirit of America’s Potluck by building relationships and enjoying time around the table.
2. Host an America Potluck by organizing a simple neighborhood potluck on your street, in a cul de sac, common area or driveway, or nearby park.
One of the best ways to build a stronger community is to get to know the people who live right around you.
If you’d like to close your street for a
potluck, please email Aimee McConkie before June 22nd
at [email protected] to receive a city permit at no charge.
