Americano Live: The West after the midterms
About this Event
Venue: The Library above Old Queen Street Café, 6 Old Queen Street, SW1H 9HP
Join Freddy Gray, The Spectator’s deputy editor and host of the Americano podcast, as he sits down with Christopher Caldwell, the acclaimed American journalist and cultural critic.
With the midterm elections on the horizon, all eyes are on Donald Trump. But as his approval ratings hit record lows, the Iran war spikes energy costs and the Democrats prepare to make major gains in Congress, is Trumpism beginning to unravel? And if so, what is the West’s future after the midterms?
To discuss all this and more, join Christopher Caldwell as he argues that America remains in the grip of a profound struggle over its political and cultural foundations.
