Riverview Studios and Del Val Arts (formerly Bordentown Arts) have teamed up to present the Second Annual AmericanaRama Music Festival, September 6th, 1PM - 7PM, outdoors on the banks of the Crosswicks Creek at Riverview Studios. This will be a day-long roots music festival that will take place on the banks of Crosswoods Creek overlooking the Delaware River.
Bring your lawn chairs and favorite beverages, and enjoy the fresh air and the view along with some great music. This is a BYOB event. Check back for updates on Food Trucks.
A $20 donation to the event will benefit the Parker Mother & Child Foundation's scholarship program, providing essential funds for education to girls. The Foundation's programs enable girls to obtain an education in fields such as nursing, dentistry, medicine, law, teaching, or accounting. These are life-changing events that uplift entire communities. Parker Mother & Child Foundation was founded by James Parker in 2004 and has allowed dozens of young women to find successful careers.
James Parker: "Our goal with sponsoring The AmericanaRama Music festival is twofold: first to bring good music, good people, and good food together for a relaxing community event, and secondly to build awareness and raise funds for our scholarship program. I'm so proud of the accomplishments of our graduates, who now pay it forward every day. Not only do they support their families, but they are role models for their communities and encourage other girls to reach for the stars."
Riverview Studios has been hosting monthly music nights to bring original singers, songwriters, and artists together with appreciative audiences in a café-style environment.
