ABOUT BRIAN WILKIE
In Champaign, Illinois where Brian grew up, he never had to strain too hard to hear REAL COUNTRY music. As Brian says, 'It was just part of the soundtrack of your youth." Brian got his start in the University of Illinois music program and in the Midwest music scene. Skills refined there would allow him to take his talents to Nashville and work as a session player and tour with Allison Krauss, Pam Tillis, Lorrie Morgan and others. In addition, Brian has appeared on "Nashville Now" and led that band on a national television telethon in L.A.
A member of the Hoyle Brothers Band for over 20 years and an in-demand musician for shows and studio projects, including Iron & Wine, Beast Epic (2017), On Big Shoulders – A City’s Musical Portrait (2018), a tribute to Chicago’s musical history.
Brian is a producer, arranger, and highly sought-after pedal steel master, multi-instrumentalist and studio musician.

Inspired by conversations, stories and reflections of troubles and triumphs, songs that draw you into a conversation, or tell you a story you won’t forget. With an acoustic guitar foundation and textures of pedal steel guitar, mandolin, Dobro and traces of rock with electric guitar, “Dana Maragos is pure Americana” –Alex Fitter, Americana UK.
Chicago native and University of Illinois graduate, and WPGU-FM alum, Dana got her first guitar when she was 6 years old. She learned protest songs, folk songs, harmonizing with her sister and dancing to Beatle records with neighborhood teenage girls. She wrote her first song when she was 13.
She took a long, professional journey, living in the south, northeast and west until returning to back in Chicago to work and raise a family. While on a walk to her commuter train, she wrote a song and decided to start playing open mics. She found inspiration and support in a friendly and generous musical community. Dana is a south Chicago native, currently lives on the city’s north side.
