Join us for Americana: A Living History Concert, a special afternoon celebrating the stories, people, and music that have shaped our nation. This inspiring performance also commemorates three remarkable milestones: the 250th anniversary of the United States, the 40th anniversary of the Sounds of Freedom Military Concert Band, and the 80th anniversary of the Clovis Veterans Memorial District.
This patriotic concert will feature powerful and moving works dedicated to our nation, honoring the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the American people through music. It’s the perfect opportunity to step out of the summer heat, relax in the air conditioning, and enjoy an unforgettable afternoon with family and friends.
We are also thrilled to welcome Executive Director of the Kingsburg District Chamber of Commerce Lauren Nikkel as our master of ceremonies. Lauren will become the first woman in the band’s 40 year history to serve as emcee, making this celebration even more memorable.
