In recognition of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, this concert season will feature American composers and writers from the 18th century up through living composers today.
We will be singing reimagined melodies from Lowell Mason, Paul Simon, and Rodgers and Hammerstein, and singing classic favorites by Samuel Barber and Harry T. Burleigh.
There is something delightful and meaningful for everyone in this program where we celebrate this 250-year American experiment of courage, compassion, hope, and determination.
