Join Merrimack Parks and Recreation and step back in time to experience the birthplace of the American Revolution as we travel by chartered bus to historic Lexington, Massachusetts, in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of independence. this two and a half hour fully guided tour brings history to life as a professional guide shares the powerful stories, people, and events that sparked the nation’s fight for independence.
Following the guided tour, relax and enjoy a reserved luncheon at the historic Wayside Inn in Sudbury, one of the oldest operating inns in the United States. Guests will enjoy a classic New England meal in a warm, colonial setting that perfectly complements the day’s historical theme.
