The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED program trains participants to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries, and sudden illness until advanced medical personnel take over.
The Cass County Health Department utilizes blended learning courses through the American Red Cross, meaning that the main classroom portion of the class is completed online through modules that students can take at their own pace, on their own time. After completing the online modules, students meet in person for skills training to finalize their certification.
**This event is for the skills assessment portion only**
The class fee is $50.
The class fee may be waived for licensed childcare providers.
Certification is valid for 2 years.
