Join us for a relaxed, social game of American Mahjong played outside by the stage! It’s the perfect mix of strategy and connection, with plenty of opportunities to sharpen your game and enjoy the table.

Come solo or with a friend, there will be a seat waiting for you.

What to bring:

Your 2026 NMJL card (BYOC)

Your own set and mat (none will be provided)

This session is designed for players who already know the basics of American Mahjong. If you’ve taken a class and are ready for real play, you’ll feel right at home. (No instruction will be provided during this event.)

Spots are limited, so be sure to reserve yours.

We can’t wait to play with you! Whether you're looking to sharpen your strategy or play with fellow enthusiasts, Mahjong is always more fun when shared.

Info: We follow National Mahjong League (NMJL) rules for all play, along with a few House Rules that extend etiquette and help keep the games fair and fun for everyone. Our goal is to foster friendship, meet new people, and help players of all levels improve their skills.

We rotate the last East out so a waiting player can join the table. With three players, we often use The Charleston, even though NMJL and tournament rules don’t allow it, if everyone at the table agrees on a method that works. Volunteers are welcome to rotate, and players can switch tables to keep the games fair and enjoyable for all.
