The American Legion John M. West Post 408 Foundation is putting on their first of soon to be annual Steak Feeds. It will be held at Post 408 in Derby (120 E Washington) Cooking starts at 5:00 pm, October 25, 2025Cost of tickets is $40 in advance and $45 the day of the event, with attendees requested to bring platters, silverware and cooking utensils. The event is open to diners 12 and older, with beer offered to those 21 and older. The event is held rain or shine and steaks must be picked up the night of the steak feed. Come hungry and thirsty and ready for a good time. Come early for the Post 408 Cruisers car show and check out the hot rides. There will be music raffles and a good time to be had by all. The price of the tickets will get you one 2lb top sirloin, or two 1lb t-bones(cooked yourself your way on provided grills, both gas and charcoal), baked potato, and baked beans, water, tea, or beer and a chance to win a JBL sound system. There will be a 50/50 drawing as well as other raffle opportunities. Proceeds from our event will go to our Pat Kitterman Scholarship Fund for scholarships we hope to get started in 2026.
