American Dreamin

Join us for the opening reception of American Dreamin, a new exhibit that explores the idea of the American Dream from the Revolutionary War to present day.
There will be new work by local artists as well as pieces created by some of our art outreach programming partnership organizations.
We will be highlighting some Kinston history and asking the question, "What does the American Dream look like to you?"
Plus, guest speaker Tah'Ron Cannon of Committed to Progressing Forward and a collaborative art making activity for all ages.
Join us -- we're right on the parade route for Kinston's first Juneteenth parade!
This event uses research published by the Lenoir County America250 committee. Learn more via Visit Kinston here: https://kinston250.wonderguides.com/stories/all#/
