VBISBAR - we are super excited to be a sponsor of the “FIRST AMERICAN GRADING and JUDGING” of the Valais Blacknose on September 13 and 14, 2025 during New Jersey’s largest sheep and fiber festival. VBISBAR PAYS PREMIUMS!!!
Our graders and judges have years of hands on experience with wool breeds as well as experience learning how to judge and grade the VBN. A BIG plus that one of our newest graders and judges also owns the Valais Blacknose!
This milestone will allow breeders to show their sheep and have them graded and judged by experienced judges with the knowledge that it takes to make sure that breeders are meeting the standards of the breed by our own AMERICAN JUDGES right here in the USA!
Wethers are welcome this year to be evaluated. All purebreds will be in their respective classes and along with crossbred ewes (no Wethers) will also be allowed in the wool classes.
VBISBAR will be honoring breeders PREMIUMS who place during the show in the purebred classes. The Garden State Sheep Breeders will also be paying out premiums.
The Premiums from VBISBAR are as follows:
Maximum Points Ram $250.00
Maximum Points Ewe $250.00
Class Premiums:
1st place $100.00
2nd place $75.00
3rd place $50.00
OVERALL:
Champion Ram $150.00
