• Classic kid's games (potato sack races, hobby horses, and more)
• Car Show Cruise-In
• Captain Steven Bennett Park – Sign Dedication & Medal of Honor Tribute (6:00 PM)
• Evening (7:30 PM)– Free community concert featuring Detroit Steel
• Nightfall (around 9:45 PM) – Fireworks show
✨ Saturday, July 4, 2026
• 10:00 AM – Independence Day Parade
• Decorated bike contest for kids
• Kid's Zone sponsored by Palestine Church
• Festival in Old Town Palestine
• Handmade & homemade vendor market
• The Journey HQ Classic & custom American car show
• Pie BAKING Contest (Apple, Peach & Blueberry categories), the public will have the opportunity to try and vote for their favorites.
• District Courtroom (inside Anderson County Courthouse) – Historical reenactments, patriotic programs, and live performances
• The festival wraps up at 2:00 PM
🎉 With live music, historic tributes, great food, and plenty of fun, it’s the perfect way to spend your Fourth of July weekend.
