This patriotic program is presented by Karen Holzer of Historically Speaking / West River History Conference. It is proudly sponsored by The Matthews, the West River History Conference, the Spearfish American Legion Family, America 250, and South Dakota America 250. Karen will cover 10 segments of history, each spanning 25 years. Karen will discuss national developments affecting our state through profiles and stories of several South Dakotans. Also participating in the program will be Carol Howitz of the Spearfish American Legion family, leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Brianna Edwards of the 1906 Theatre will perform a patriotic musical number.
