Perkiomen Valley Library at Schwenksville Program will be held in a classroom at Montgomery County 4-H Center while the library is undergoing renovations.

Join us for a thought-provoking program that broadens our understanding of the Revolutionary War and honors the diverse patriots who supported our struggle for independence during the American Revolution.

Enjoy the game “Forgotten versus Famous Patriots” as we explore the often-overlooked stories of the American Revolutionary War by identifying the roles of African American, Native American, and women patriots who fought, sacrificed, and helped shape our nation’s early history. You will learn about some overlooked patriots and the famous leaders with whom they served. You will discover the disparities in treatment between the two groups.

In this game, players compete to guess the names of famous or forgotten historical patriots found on game cards. By taking turns asking only "Yes" or "No" questions about each patriot's life, participants work to uncover their true identities. To assist players, a reference guide with example questions is provided.
